21st Century Confined Space Rescue Training
Description
The Confined Space Training Regulations 1997 require employers to provide a method of rescuing a worker from a confined space and ensuring that both those who are tasked to enter, as well as the rescue personnel, are competent to do so. This session will include the requirements to perform a pre-use safety inspection of the equipment; the faults and dangers that may be identified, how each of the provided items are designed to be used and how they should be combined to provide a safe method of access and rescue from the confined space.
Additionally, the Work at Height Regulations 2005 requires fall protection to be provided whilst working in a confined space, when the workers can fall a distance and injure themselves. Therefore, the session also addresses this requirement, for both those who enter the confined space as well as the rescue personnel.
Please note - This confined space training course is for up to 6 participants. If you cannot make up a suitably sized group to justify the group price, then please book as many individual slots as you require and we will inform you of the next date for which we have enough bookings to run the course.
We are also able to provide tailor made courses, to match your specific requirements, all carried out by some of the most highly experienced instructors in the business. So if you have a question, please do give us a call now.
